کشورهای خاورمیانه در چند دهه گذشته گرمایی به این شدت به خود ندیده بودند. گرمای جولای و اوت 2015 درحالی مردم خاورمیانه را کلافه کرده که کار برخی از آنها مانند عراقی ها را به تظاهرات در خیابان نیز کشانده است. هزاران عراقی در چند روز گذشته در بغداد دست به تظاهرات زدند و به قطع مکرر آب و برق در شهرهای مختلف این کشور اعتراض کردند.
