شفقنا افغانستان-نخست وزیر عراق آغاز عملیات بازپس‌گیری و آزادسازی موصل، که به پایتخت داعش در عراق معروف شده، را رسما اعلام کرد.

 
به گزارش شفقنا افغانستان به نقل از فرادید، حیدر العبادی نخست وزیر عراق از طریق تلویزیون این کشور آغاز عملیات آزادسازی و بازپس گیری موصل را رسما اعلام کرد. نخست وزیر عراق در نطق تلویزیونی خود اعلام کرد که فقط نیروهای ارتش این کشور به همراه نیروهای پلیس وارد موصل خواهند شد. از این عملیات به عنوان «مادر جنگ‌ها» در عراق برای جنگ با داعش یاد شده است.
 
در این عملیات، نیروهای امنیتی شامل ارتش، الحشدالشعبی، پیشمرگه، پلیس اتحادیه و نیز نیروهای عشایری و محلی و یگان هایی مانند نیروهای سازمان مبارزه با تروریسم حضور دارند. شمار نیروهای مختلف عراقی برای شرکت در این عملیات حدود 30 هزار نفر است. گفته می‌شود که بین 3500 تا 4500 داعشی در موصل مستقر هستند و بیش از یک میلیون غیرنظامی نیز در شهر حضور دارند.
